Diane Walters founded Classical Partners 12 years ago following a visit to France, together with Michael Lamb, for the Evian Music Festival. They noticed how miserable the lone concert-goers appeared in contrast to those with partners.

Today, Classical Partners is able to offer the benfits of a highly personalised and sophisticated personal introduction service for those who desire it together with a regular and varied programme of events founded on a common love of music and the arts.

Classical Partners has members nationwide with offices covering London & the Home Counties (Head Office), The Midlands and the North and the North West.

Members come from a wide range of career backgrounds – from doctors, nurses, lawyers, politicians, civil servants, academics, teachers, social workers and businessmen and women to authors, artists, musicians, composers and those in the media. In addition to appreciating the arts we find that our members are generally friendly and outgoing with a shared sense of fun.

We are also proud of being able to provide a really worthwhile platform for exciting young talent emerging onto the classical music scene by liasing with the best musical colleges and conservatoires in the country (see our musicians gallery).

From our experience we know that a musical or arts-based venue is the perfect environment for that first meeting. The Royal Festival Hall, Barbican, Wigmore Hall and the major art galleries and museums all have informal coffee shops and restaurants where you can relax over a drink and a snack.
